Karthick holds a Bachelor Degree in Commerce from India. He worked as an Accounts Assistant and a Sales and Marketing Executive in India before coming to Singapore. He joined Multiheight Scaffolding Pte Ltd as a Scaffold Erector in 2017.
In 2018, his strong administrative skills were recognised and he was reassigned as a Sales & Operations Admin for the same company. In this role, he managed customer enquiries, collaborated with the sales team to implement better strategies, resulting in a 15% increase in sales revenue. He also oversaw store operations in Jurong Island, keeping an eye on inventory stock and forecasting demand to make sure stock levels were optimal. He also prepared scaffolding quotation and cost estimations, prepared monthly reports to management on revenue, outstanding POs etc, prepared scaffolding quotations and cost estimations and was in charge of ensuring all documents were filed properly. He also liaised with HR & Payroll to ensure administrative matters such as scaffolders’ payroll and OT calculations were accurate, their WPs were renewed on time, and all necessary course renewals were booked on time.
In 2021, Karthick joined Nordic Group as a HR Executive where he was put in charge of coming up with a comprehensive tracking list of the Group’s 1000+ strong foreign workforce to help the HR team ensure all necessary renewals and procedures were carried out smoothly. When MOM implemented the new PCP scheme, he was entrusted to register all 1000+ WP and Spass holders to their correct PCP anchor operators and each month he would check the invoices to ensure accuracy. When the procedure was established, he taught the procedure to the rest of the HR team and made sure all of them were able to understand and carry out the registration and deregistration smoothly, and were able to verify the invoices. In 2024, he was promoted to Senior HR Executive, where he was put in charge of a team of HR Executives to provide guidance and ensure the numerous work processes continued to flow smoothly.
He is now looking for a new opportunity in Singapore to continue learning and growing. He is open to learning new areas of work. He is open to considering remote jobs which he can do in India, if this suits the company better.
